My primary research interests focus on the intersection between social, environmental, and ecological psychology, which involves investigating how the physical environments and settings that humans occupy guide and constrain the social psychological processes that take place within them. For example, I study how social processes influence perceptions of the physical environment (e.g., spatial estimates, setting preferences), as well as how the physical environment affects the social processes taking place within it (e.g., territoriality, coping).

Primary Interests:

  • Applied Social Psychology
  • Group Processes
  • Person Perception
  • Personality, Individual Differences
  • Self and Identity
  • Social Cognition
